Experienced player always looking for REAL ...read again ...REAL Reggae,Rocksteady or Ska bands to join, I am as what has been described by others as having a true old school sound and i look the part too(no long hair or baggy jeans here!!!)i was fortunate to grow up in the classic eras so i do know what im doing,i can play either Bass or Rhthymn guitar,i will only consider joining bands that have a good image wether that be Skinhead,Rude boy,Mod or Rasta and have the music at heart,

my influences range from Roots Reggae, Trojan Reggae, 2 tone, 60s Ska & Rocksteady, my fav bands are Steel Pulse, Culture,Misty in Roots,Gregory Isaacs,Prince Buster,Abbyssinians,Heptones,Slackers,Judge Dread,Specials,Laurel Aitken,Alton Ellis...errr i could go on here forever!


I would prefer playing with mature players generally over 35 but will consider a younger band if they sound right and know what there doing,i am an unashamed purist so please do not contact me if you are a 200bpm ska-punk band (whatever that is) or kids that think there a ska band!!! you know who you are :(
