Hello! I am a contemporary/modern specialist singing teacher based in Worcestershire. Most of my students are or want to be pop, rock or R & B singers but I also teach jazz, blues, country, musical theatre, anything except classical, in fact (there's lots of classical teachers around). My singing tuition covers the following areas (according to the student’s identified needs and wishes): Voice care, breathing, breath control, tone enhancement, tone control, pitching, agility, expression, dynamics, vibrato, embellishments, harmony, rhythm, ad-lib, tour survival, musical genre-specific idiosyncrasies and more. To achieve this I use not only a variety of exercises, but also songs compatible with the student's taste. My students are all ages (9-90), male and female, and from all walks of life. They tend to fit into the following categories: * singers seeking general improvement * singers with a specific vocal problem * virtual beginners who want to learn to sing * professionals requiring a vocal coach. I have particular success in sensitively identifying and rectifying student’s problem areas through demonstration and corrective exercises. About me: I've been singing for millions of years and have done well over 3000 paid gigs and countless sessions.... so I know an awful lot about singing and the business. I'm still gigging regularly after all this time so I must be getting something right I guess!
