Willow Stahlut has been playing music since her father made her a guitar for her first birthday! At 21, she now has a degree majoring in jazz and improvisation performance as well as her AmusA which she was awarded with distinction. Willow began playing the violin at the age of five and it soon became her biggest passion - although violin is her main instrument, Willow also plays guitar, viola, mandolin, accordion and vocals and is working on her skills on the piano and cello. Willow has played in many bands since she was fifteen ranging from high-energy gypsy bands, to traditional Indian bands, to rock and classical ensembles. She has co-produced three CD's with one of her bands 'the Gypsy Hot Club' as well as recording and producing her own compositions. Willow has written pieces for all the bands she has been in as well as for short films and other media. She is an exciting musician that is always developing her skills - learning a new instrument, music programme or composing something new - and always enjoying what she does.
