Funk/Hip Hop/Vocalist/Singer wanted
We are a newly formed original funk band looking for a talented singer/frontperson to complete lineup. Influencs include chili peppers, fun lovin criminals, incubus, jamiroquai, 70's funk, etc. At the moment we consist of guitarist/bass player/drummer, all in early 30's. We have a few potential songs written instrumentally but really need someone who can come in with their own ideas for lyrics/vocal melodies etc. Any age/gender/vocal style welcome as long as it gels well with music and with the three of us on a personal level. We are all committed (and some would even say talented) musicians who have played in a number of bands over the years. Really just looking to have some fun and play lots and lots of gigs. Not bothered about getting signed or chasing any kind of dream, just being the best at what we do. There are a few mp3s available which I can provide links for if anyone should want to have a listen to see what kind of stuff we are doing. The main thing though is just to make music and have as much fun as possible doing so.
