Alternative rock band in seach of drummer again (B: We're a young alternative band from Aylesbusy seeking a drummer to gig with us. The style of music played is quite broad. Its an alternative piano based rock soul- with a hint of jazz. We're looking for a half decent drummer that can hold their own (and put in a little creatism to flare up the sounds too) The band has local credibilty and are looking to push that further, venturing out to other towns and cities. Infact we're going to start gigging in Oxford by the end of this year- but our drummer has just pulled out. We have a good amount of songs to work with (pre-recordings) and we're still writing more Our tracks are quite smooth and mellow. When we do play heavier- its sophisticated and intelligent yet it remains powerful. We're looking for a drummer with jazz influences- and when playing heavier- they play powerfully (and not pub rocky or poppy) Also, its an exciting prospect, giving the band new dimension and creativity and we're open to fresh and new ideas, helping the band to grow.
