Hi we are GRUPO TEQUESTA essex's premier Salsa band,

We were founded by a professional salsa dance instructor and percussionist in 2007

Our line up is drums, congas, percussion, keyboards, guitar, double bass, sax, flute trumpet, and 6 of us sing- yes SIX!!

We play a combination of traditional Salsa music, and modern chart stuff but in a salsa style, and our sole purpose in life is to make people dance!!!

Based, in braintree, where we have our own rehersal facilities, We regularily gig in and around this area, and have our own Pa system too!

We also offer a salsa "barn dance" experience whereby the audience is taken through some salsa routines a stage at a time and then you get a chance to try it out to live music! This is hugely popular at parties and weddings!!

We play clubs pubs, festivals, weddings,( funerals-if invited..!!.) and charity gigs .

We regularily do charity fund raising gigs too, and offer huge concessions for worthy causes Give us a call
