Hi folks,

My name's Terry and I'm an experienced bass guitarist, of the Beatles/Stones/Clapton vintage, which makes me pretty ancient, but I'm not ready to give up gigging just yet. (If Bill Wyman can still manage it, so can I!) Since the band I was with folded recently, I'm currently looking for an alternative.

The kinds of bands I've been in over the last umpteen years have mostly been of the general-purpose pub/club/function variety, with a couple of blues bands along the way. I'm based in Devizes, Wiltshire and I'm hoping to find an established local band - or maybe one in its formative stages - with modest ambitions, i.e., no delusions of superstardom.

I've got good gear (Musicman/Fender/Ashdown) and transport, and I'm willing to practise as necessary, say once a week. As for gigs, I'd be happy with an average of one a month.
