www.thethinkingreeds.com & www.myspace.com/thethinkingreeds We are a new band who somewhere fall into the genres pop/acoustic/alternative. Although new we're experienced and comitted to making a career in music. We put alot of time and effort into getting things right, we are trying to make everything about us stand out from stage sets to acappela 4 part harmonies as going the extra mile we believe is worth it. We have two permanent members; pianist and singer but are now looking to fill the other roles more permanently. We are ideally looking for a double bassist who can play electric bass as well as rhythm guitar, however if we find someone who can do a good enough job on just one of the instruments that’s fine. We are not against finding more than one person to fill these roles. We are looking for someone with experience and good level of musicianship. We are dedicated, organised and really eager to gig around the country. We’ve just released our debut album which was produced by PJ Harveys producer Lance Thomas on a small independent label and really need to get out there more often but without permanent members this has been hard.
