I'm a 40-something guitarist who has been playing on and off for many years, but mostly just at home. I've messed around with blues, rock and jazz at various times, but have also played classical in my youth. I have electric and acoustic guitars and am happy to play either.

I would like to make contact with local musicians so that we can just play and enjoy ourselves. If there is an opportunity to do some sort of performance I could be up for that, time permitting.

As of September 2008 I joined a rock covers band as rhythm guitarist. I learnt a load of classic rock songs, but the band has not played together since July 09 due to other commitments. I never played a gig with them.

I have a project in mind to do acoustic prog rock covers, e.g. King Crimson perhaps combined with some classical guitar. Not sure I have the time and/or skills for it, but I fancy something more technical than the rock band.

Meanwhile I've been joining in a pub acoustic session where I get to sing and play my guitar for fun.

I'm also looking for a guitar teacher in or around Arlesey to help me work on my skills.
