Music is the only thing I've ever known!

I picked up the cello at the age of 8 and that was it! I was hooked!

The only thing that changed is that i swapped to clarinet and then picked up the sax too. I was trained very classically, and if I ever hear "you must follow the dots precisely" I swear I'll scream. But as it happens, I do! I can sight read most things and anything that I don't get in the first couple of attempts, will bug me until I do!

I've been giging all through school, college and uni and have experienced most types of styles. Right from the most depressing gig of playing Disney music for a christening right through to playing at Big Band festival in Blackpool!

Play all except the soprano sax (just way too small) and clarinet too. Cello's very very rusty and my bows broken so i've not picked it up in years.

I'll travel most places to gig and have played from good old bognor right up to Manchester and Blackpool! Really into bands like the Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, The Brian Setzer Orchestra and the Big Phat Band as well as artists like Bill Evans and Courtney Pine! But at the moment am playing with a 50s Rock and Roll band, and slowly learning to love Elvis, Eddie Cochrane, and anything in 12 bar.

As long as I'm on stage and playing I'm happy!
