Hi there!
I'm a 25 year old singer/songwriter and have for the past two years been working hard to promote my folk/rock band august. It's been going really well and we're up to the point where we are headlining at Komedia here in Brighton on Wed 21st Feb, one of Brighton's premier venues for acts of all genres, home grown and international. However the original line-up is disbanding and through the process of reforming, myself and the two other members of the band left (guitars/lapsteel), are considering moving into a more alternative genre, being particularly interested in world fusion. We are highly motivated, focussed and committed to creating successful careers for ourselves, but we also emphasise the need to enjoy the music and not simply become slaves to the industry. Therefore whatever you're instrument, style, or ambition, if you're talented we'll be keen to experiment with you and see what comes from the mix.
