Hi,

I'm Rob, and I play guitar. I have done so for over 20 years, and seriously for the last eight. I like lots of different musical genres, but feel most at home with blues / rock. I'm a solid rhythm player, but my real strength is old school guitar solos. My main inspirations have been Eric Johnson, Gary Moore, and Mark Knopfler.

I have my own trasport and am willing to travel if required; for the last two years I've been gigging with a band in Plymouth which is over an hour away. When I commit, I commit!

That band is called 'Stinger'.

Gear-wise I play either a Fender Eric Johnson Strat (superb guitar!), a Gibson Les Paul, or a second Strat, through a 100 watt Marshall valve head, 4 x 12 cab and custom pedalboard.

I love playing with Stinger, but would be interested in any project closer to home or work (I work in Exeter) and / or that is more heavily biased towards the blues.
