An experienced 20 yr old bassist in the South West with a grade 8 qualification, a National Diploma in Music Practice and an AS level in Music. Have been playing for several years doing pubs, festivals, clubs, recordings, weddings, charity events and functions in a variety of different genres varying from playing in the band for a church gospel choir, to rock covers bands and original groups. Personal playing style is very versatile though will generally include an element of funk.

As i take my bass playing seriously you can expect a level of professionalism to the best of my abilities. My main interests include funk, blues and rock (with emphasis on the funk!), but am more than happy to play any style. Influences from the following can be recognised in my playing - Michael Balzary, Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clarke and Mark King.

I am looking for a busy, established working band and/or session work so any one off recordings or performances would also be of great interest. I have always played by ear via jamming and improvising so picking up songs quickly is of no trouble. I have transport and am currently playing an Ernie Ball Musicman Bongo through a 300w Hartke Head with a 4x10 Hartke cab.
