Band wanted,

or alternatively join an existing band.

Inexpierienced (in terms of gigs) good male guitarist, a fast learner and has a fairly good knowledge of theory and a knack for the fretboard, looking to form a bnd with inflences from blues, blues rock, classic rock, Southern rock, Country, and especially Alt-Country. Things like, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Drive by Truckers (probably five main influences), Black Sabbath, Cream, Free, Foghat, Ufo, Gary Moore, Grateful Dead, Faces, Neil Young, Nazareth, Jayhawks, The Gourds, then country like Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, etc. Also have an odd love for steely dan. heh.


Basically though mostly guitar led classic rock style stuff is what i'm looking for - i love loads of different kinds of music but in terms of playing the above stuff is the kind of thing i enjoy playing.

Or Alternatively looking to join a similarly minded (broadly anyway) band to have some fun and jam as well as play properly. can pick up songs quickly.
