Hi there

I'm a very versatile lead guitarist.

I've lots of different styles under my belt.

I'm looking to play original/or cover material ranging from straight ahead blues (chicago etc) through blues rock (allman brothers, cream, srv, pg's fleetwood mac, free, etc. - with some jazz/fusion beck/ford/carlton etc. influences to boot) to straight ahead rock (zep, gnr, audioslave) and maybe even some grunge (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, etc) and country, folk (trad, fairport, csn&y etc) and prog in there. Ultimately though, I'm flexible and I know that with the right musicians the musical direction will become clear.

I'm also very interested in jamming and/or collaborating/ writing with other musicians - I've loads of ideas and a solid understanding of harmony/theory and composition.

I pick up musical ideas very quickly - I've a good ear and good reading skills (standard notation as well as the Nashville system, tab, etc).

I have decent bass and keyboard skills and I'm up for honing my harmonica skills if suits. Pretty decent backing vocals but not up to lead vocal standard, I'm afraid.

I have pro gear (Fender/Gibson/Mesa-boogie etc) including home recording gear and pa equipment and I am very committed to making music and will devote a great deal of time and energy to the right group or project.
