Obsidia was formed in the late winter nights of 2007 by three friends, Adelle, Liam and Matt.

Joining the band in the early part of the year Professor Kenny Martin (guitars) made the band nearly complete.

The search for a drummer that suited our needs has been a difficult struggle and one that still continues to this day. Taking the place of a real drummer Matt pre progams drumtracks onto a psp and the band uses this as a tool in place of a drummer and kit. Lovingly referred to as Robert he sits quitely unless asked to make loads of noise, at which point it does.

In July a chance meeting added Aaron to the band as a second guitarist and Obsidia's sound was taken to the next level. It is at this point that Obsidia is at in their career as musicians. We are currently writing music and have people ready to book us for gigs; however we've reached the point where we are desperate for a drummer, as the PSP, despite being better than nothing, really isn't cutting it.
