I am a very experienced and highly motivated violinist/fiddle player. I am classically trained though unusually I have a high level of improvisatory skill and can sightread.
I can play in all keys and in many styles from classical to blues through irish, bluegrass and klezmer.
I can compose string arrangements and write in dots.
I am told i am easy to get on with and i work well under pressure.
I have toured extensively in Europe with various bands and been involved in many many studio sessions.
i can provide references and audition tapes/mp3s in many styles
I have a professional quality electric violin setup with high output and low feedback and a nice old Italian violin for studio recording.
