Profile:
- Progressive rock guitar (>10 yrs): Advanced technique. Also great with chordal work.
- Bass (>9 yrs): Advanced technique. Rock solid finger work and can handle the speedier stuff without turning to slop.
- Drums (>5 yrs): Can hold my own in less complex musical situations. Have learned a sense of rhythm and groove that I apply to my other instruments.
- Keys (grade 3 piano). Decent, but don't count on it!
- Vocals: Medium skill level. I'm more of a backing vocalist and have plenty of experience singing all sorts of harmonies. When I'm warmed up I can sing in the tenor range.

- Played all sorts of musical styles over the last 15+ years (I'm 23).

- Have done substitute and temping work on several occasions.
- Plenty of experience in arranging music for and teaching young choirs.
- Scored the lead in role in a musical production of Saturday Night Fever a few years ago.....so my vocals aren't too bad!

- Rocky groove: Soundgarden, Incubus, Jelly Jam, Police, Foo Fighters, etc.
- Musical approach: John Mayer, Sting, anything else that tickles my fancy
- Grrrr: Metallica, Megadeth, Tool, Iron Maiden.....I'm a metal head at heart.
- Random: Kylie Minogue to Avril Lavigne. I love listening to anything.
- Drum n bass: The filthier the better.


Looking for:
- A progressive rock band with a mainstream edge. Technically proficient players who can also give non musicians something to groove to. Ideally a band that can handle Kansas-style three part harmonies when needed.
- Happy to join an existing band to play rock (alternative, mainstream....anything really).
- Temp work and substitute work. I can fill in at last minute gigs and for recordings.
- Session work.
- Guitar and bass.


Misc:
-Developed a computer program that takes a guitar player's input, learns their style and improvises guitar solos in their style. The theory developed for this project won an award at the University of Nottingham and is currently being reviewed for a possible publication.
