mufti's profile

mufti started out as a song writing partnership formed about 3 years ago between a session guitarist (male) and a vocalist (female), now filled out with a cracking drummer and outstanding percussionist. We're looking to complete the line up with a suitably fabulous bass player and a versatile keyboard player. We are under management and have been getting some serious industry interest.

We're kind of Faithless meets Morcheba, Moloko gone a bit Underworld. The two favourite descriptions of our sound are:

(1) A producer who said we're "Acid Jazz gone clubbing"

(2) A journalist who said we "sound like the collision of electronic dance music with a live rock band."
