Hi, im Matty 33, based in the scunthorpe area , lead guitarist. We are now looking for the right front man - lead vocals, so far there is myself on lead guitar, Dave (23)on rythymn guitar, Jack (23)on drums & Ross (17)on bass guitar. Our set list includes among others - The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Oasis, Stereophonics and would also want to do our own songs.
We get together to jam weekly (also go to jam sessions) and are now looking for the singer and then get doing some gigs.

Ive been in a few bands that ended because of lack of commitment etc... from other members (the last band our singer left and the new one was a female and all credit to her she kept most of our set list but kept adding avril lavigne, etc... but the final straw was when she decided that we should be doing things like meck-thunder in my heart, hardly rock/indie is it?).
I am not the worlds leader in guitar playing but i know what i like and what i want to play ! This is so when learning to play new songs but making the tune your own rather than just copying.

The thing is i dont sing, but that hasnt stopped me writing my own songs (words & music) To get these songs recorded in a basic mix is my next port of call as its always better to hear a song rather than just reading words on paper, i like the oppertunity to get lost in the world of creativity with different sounds , methods, but not to the point of over doing it.

Ideally the band would consist of myself - lead guitarist/backing vocals , rhythmn guitar (sounds so much better with 2 guitars) bass player , drummer and singer !
Also possibilty for keyboard player to widen the dynamics of the band and the songs we"ll play. So if this is you, ie ..... YOU, and your tired of not going anywhere fast then get in touch and lets make a different sound.
