Am looking for a lead guitarist either electric or acoustic [ or both ]... to join myself guitar/vocals and a stand up bass player...

Need someone local who plays for the love of music and not someone who needs to earn money.. To describe the style I would say imagine Chris Isaak on vocals with a stand up Bass player and "maybe" the odd haunting synth sound here or there and of course a mellow twangy guitar... This is certainly not straycats style rockabilly however does have a touch of the fifties... I would like to think the sound is a modern cooler version of the fifties sound...

The best way I can describe the guitar sound I am looking for is to say the "Twang" from Chris Isaaks wicked game mixed with a "little" of the Echo from Hank Marvin and a splash of Mexicana acoustic [ hope that makes sense... we are looking for clear, mellow and atmospheric as opposed to loud and thrashy. ].. mostly slower tracks with the od upbeat number...

I write a load of stuff myself but we may do some covers to start with, I can sing quite well but am not one of those guys who can sing all the songs that the band throw at me, I used to do that "badly" years ago and now only sing what I know I can sing..
