I'm currently looking for musicians in or around the London area. I'm a guitarist, programmer and producer that's been playing and writing for around 12 years or so. I've been signed to an indie label, toured the UK and the USA and have pro quality equipment.
I have endorsements with Framus guitars and have been featured in Peavey ads.

Essentially I want to get a new band off the ground. Definitely metal, but with a rock/programming edge and melodic vocals. Something of a mix of styles and feelings throughout the music. Good bands to compare with would be: Meshuggah, Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, Korn, Faith No More, Strapping young Lad, Fear Factory, Sikth and Prodigy.
Having your own gear, experience within the industry and passion and identity are all pretty desirable attributes as is live and studio experience.
Some material is ready, but I'm more than happy to take on board more ideas and more writing. Definitely looking for people interested in doing this professionally.

Vocals:
Male or female, with their own identity and presence. strong melodic vocals and an ability to get harsher if it's called for. Ability to write lyrics, because if not, the rhyming dictionary gets dusted off.

Second Guitar:
Tight as a ducks whatnot with down and triple picking. Weird time sigs, atmospherics and soloing is all good, but random atonal guitar wank is a no-no. Gear is fairly essential; 7 string tuned to G# (so preferably baritone) and a good amp.

Bass:
As guitar really... I imagine a 5 string, due to the tuning, would be the order of the day.

Drums:
lots of double kick patterns, polyrhythms and interesting playing styles. Experience of playing to a click would be useful, as would kick triggers.

Keys or "Controllerist"
Bit of a wild card here. Someone that preferably has some experience of programs like Ableton Live and midi hardware controllers, maybe even korg kaos pads and Alesis airfx. They'll be triggering and manipulating live, existing sections of programming, so filtering, gating, stutter editing, resonance are definitely things you need to have knowledge of. If you're also a proficient keyboard player, all the better, but not a requirement.
