Started out as a drummer in a soul band. I 've been playing for 30 years+, mainly in rock bands, but over the last 5 years i have been involed in blues. I play a black Premier vintage kit, so looks good in tribute bands as it goes well with vintage gear, (except for 2 new bass drums after the last ones got crushed when the P.A. fell over in the truck). I 've played in places like Wolvo Civic Hall, the 'Keep It Live' festivals of the 80's as well as 'Blues on the loose' shows, the Fuse festivals, the last four VW MACH shows at shropshire show ground and many other venues besides the local pubs and halls, ranging from the Railway in the 70's to the Kings Head were i still play and in my youth around the country. My kit can be a 4 piece or i can make it LARGER. I am just a solid drummer, not into fancy stuff ,as i know there are 18 yr olds who have been taught proffesionally who are more technically advanced. I AM SELF TAUGHT play by instinct and FEEL. What i have is experience. I play with Lichfield Blues Band once a month and i was with ROCK SOLID for a long time who have all moved on. I've done my bit of sleeping in trucks,vans, bus shelters and under hedges so i dont stray to far from the comfort of my bed .The rock solid web site is now mine and still up and running so go look it'll give you a good idea about me and who i've played with etc http://rocksolid1.moonfruit.com. Listen to the MP3's i've tried to mix up the styles and the bands abit (from a RUSH tribute band to early FLEETWOOD MAC AND YES GERSHWIN) some are live so bare with them and you can see if i fit in with your sound. Currently with BRUFORD LOW and THE ANDY HARRISON BAND but looking for something else either instead of or besides.
