I'm looking for some interesting people to work with - as a guitar player I've done a fair bit, live and studio work - now looking for a new collaborative project. I am a musician and media artist - I am happy to work with artists, writers, musicians or vocalist/lyricists, I started this profile with a view to just getting out and playing with some fresh people, but I suppose I should be more detailed - I have always done at least 2 things - mostly splitting my time between art and design and music. Recently I gave up all commercial interests and get my income through lecturing and have a couple of funded arts projects ongoing. I am still torn between playing good time music in clubs and 'serious' art - so this is kind of about both things. I feel rather odd posting this as I have plenty to do, but I fell its important to be open to the unexpected - but if nothing comes of this thats fine too.

From a tech/competence perspective, I can cover blues/soul/funk/jazz/ambient - country at a pinch, play electric + acoustic + vocals - though I'm not really a lead vocalist, plus I play synth + software instruments, I'm interested in soundscapes, fx etc. I have professional competence in AV applications and have worked with sound artists and video directors. good equipment, including a custom 336, Esprit, Avalon, Boogie, Xstation, fx rack, Powerbook running Live - sundry other bits. I'm also playing with a bassist and drummer on a semi regular basis - so if you need a ready-made band - get in touch.

Would like to get a kind of UK Lambchop thing going but maybe a bit funkier - a loose confederation would seem appropriate, but will entertain anything interesting...
