We are seeking a support slot with any bands in the West Midlands region playing gigs, or any venues in the West Midlands that need to hire a high energy rock band.

We are Speeding Milk Float. We are a five piece band, drums, bass , two guitars and a singer. We play high energy music, 98 per cent of our stuff is our own material.

We are ready to gig. We need support slots with other bands.

We also are ready to front a gig too.

Please get in contact today with Alan on 07970624821 or Mike on 07843 574950

thanks

Hi I wonder if anyone out there would mind helping out in a local project.

With advances in modern music technology in recent years. It is getting harder to find places where musicians can play live in a full band and learn their craft. With this objective in mind, we have started running a weekly Jam Night in a small Enfield venue where we hope we can attract a few players down and keep it going as a regular thing. The hope. Is to create a place where people can come along and enjoy a night listening to live music and if they can play, to get up and join in.

We have been running for a couple of weeks and though we have a nice little crowd turning up we don’t have enough musicians coming along yet. And we would like to attract a few more. I came up with the idea of contacting some music forums and seeing if they might be interested in passing the word around to their friends some of whom might be musicians interested in coming along.

At the moment we are quite lucky in having a really excellent rock singer with us for the next few weeks - If you want to hear what she sounds like visit my web site www.the-music.co.uk and click on the Jan Parker link. (This woman sang the theme tune to the film Highlander 2)

If you wouldn’t mind helping out by either, turning up and playing or telling any musicians about it that would be a great help.

Jam Night
EVERY WEDNESDAY
Address
The Whitehouse (Across from the Albany swimming pool)
570 Hertford road
EN3 5SU
Tel: 020 - 880 - 59215

Thanks

Andy
