I am a very experienced guiatarist and am looking to join or form a blues/rock/r&b band.
The sort of thing I have in mind is stuff with a good beat/rhymn ( The R&B bit, think The Yardbirds, Dr Feelgood, Lew Lewis etc) and some 'rude' guitar work (Think Peter Green, BB King, Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Ray, Gary Moore etc ).
The idea being to get a 'good time' band up and running that leaves both the band and the punters with a smile on their faces.
I've got pro gear and my own transport. I'm based on Canvey Island, Essex

Hi
Just what I was looking for earlier this year.
I am into blues/rock (see profile) but have had to put up with a standard function band.
Recently started rehearsing with a band that's doing most of the blues/rock thing but more on the heavier side.
Rhythm guitar and vocals is my bag.
Would be interested to hear how you get on with things.
