ooo good for you I hope you have a nice time
If I lived nearer I would come and see you ...
just think ....
you could let me do a guest spot in a Kiki Dee appears on a Cliff show like Sammy Davis or Lulu on the Val Doonican show in a 'surprise - shall we do a duet which is completely unannounced but there are two stools (chairs not faeces) there already and a spare mic'
I could be Debbie McGee
you could be Demis Roussos
or Bono
I could be the Corner (like the Edge but sharper and more options - more versatile in an acoustic scenario)
Oh, just realised I liked the beer on acoustic nights and miss the smell of the crowd and thrill of the being on the mic and no one in the family can take the piss
so will have a beer
and wish you all the best with your musical extravaganza whilst I am still on the pentatonic scales and singing in the shower room at the mo (uh oh I'm turning into Morrissey)

I'm not sure about the Roussos thing but the twee "unnanounced duet on stools" could be a goer always enjoyed those 70's shows.
Actually, lets get back to faeces.
Never liked Val Doonican, couldn't get on with the fixed grin, irish eyes are smiling twinkle, rambling stories, rocking chair and jumpers...my mum liked him. I think I'll be "Ohno"...a bit like Bono but based on your standard acoustic nights audience reaction. Which reminds me I need to improve my reactions, karate perhaps?
I like the beer. Pentatonic scales...ah yes, those.
Morrissey? Yes, keep working on the quiff while keeping everyone pondering your sexuality under tales of loneliness, desparation, heartbreak and comedy. He's like an indie Cliff Richard really without the vineyard or the **** songs. Then you'll be on your way.
I will enjoy myself if I don't fall asleep! These newborns are noisy and demanding aren't they?
