We're busy working on a set for several upcoming gigs and have been tinkering about to improve on our rehearsal recordings. This one is immaculately better quality than the last two we posted. Still a live recording - no overdubs, no edits - and not a note perfect performance, but we kinda like the raw expressiveness of it. It's called "Love Lies Breathing". Tell us what you think!

Yeah - delish. The flute is a good starter - think that was in 'All of Me', too. I have my acoustic just here, and I'm afraid I played along to this with a bit of lead work and stuff . Dan's vocals seem to be getting better to me - I noticed it here and in the other two songs that you put up recently.

Anyway - love the song and everything; and where you go towards the end with the cello etc. It's all just a musically lovely place to be; iz poetry - 'aye e ayyeeee'.

Great way to bring in a Sunday.

I agree about Dan's vocs, very nice & tuneful and excellent harmonies too. I would perhaps pan the cello away from the vocs a little. This has a folky sort of vibe to me, lovely tune.

This is a great tune and dare I say it maybe the most "commercial" tune I've heard from you guys. Well put together and arranged, nice harmonies.

Very nice stuff indeed Deryn! Nice sounding vox and love the arpeggiated figure running through it and the well placed Cello parts.

Not commented on these forums for yonks what with work and whatnot but this is great, very chilled and moving, felt compelled to gaze out of the window for the entire track, would work superbly on TV (one of those ads for scotland), great vocs too, sound a bit bowie-esque in places. Ace

Thanks very much for your feedback gents. Much appreciated. We are quite invested in our new "live" sound so it's great to know it's going down well
Cheers again
