Hi everyone,

Im looking at USB mixers to record drums - ive always used midi drums with sampletank before but im looking at recording proper audio drums now.

Does anyone know if I buy a USB mixer such as an Alesis Miltimix8USB whether you can map each channel on the mixer to a seperate track in cubase for simultaneous recording of multiple tracks ?

Dave,

theres little point in seperating channels on a usb mixer. if you wanted to run seperate in/outs from cubase its only worth doing if your using a high end mixing console and mixing outside of cubase. I assume you want to record a real drum kit with seperate mics?
