another golden moment from you steve, this is a high quality day what with you and fras! not much i can say, this song catches the ear from the beginning, your voice is as full of soul as ever, as far as i'm concerned you should be releasing records.
do you record your gtr to a click before putting the drums on? if so try recording the drums first and you may find you don't come adrift like you do a little at the beginning of this track.

I do record to a click. However on this occasion instead of programming midi drums I used a loop from BFD drums after I'd recorded the acoustic to click. I'm not the worlds greatest guitar player "cough"!!! However I shouldn't be coming "adrift"...I'll need to re-listen and sort out. Thing is these songs are all just demos of ideas not the finished article...the strings are, shall we say highly improvised by a non-keyboard player!

Yes, you definitely have something in the songwriting area, Steve. I understand this is a demo, but it could easily be transformed into its fullness by being in a band; or into a selling record (as Marks says) - if someone in the business ever got hold of you etc. However, I say these things mainly as an indication of this stuff's potential as material; of your ability as songwriter.
