I cant afford a car (and its not so good for the environment) and a canoe would only help over the floods, not the rest of the route! i only have another week at work anyway, then no more floods or punctures

hmm, not sure I will be trying that, my skin is fairly waterproof! Apart from the flood which is still there I actually got both to and from work without it raining on me today!
