Has anyone used this RTAS drum instrument before and if so is it any good? Better than BFD 2 etc?

Im not a pro tools user but if you have the cash i would highly reccomend Ez drummer or addictive drums, the latter is the best on the market in my opinion and its used on a lot of commercial albums. Its RTAS compatible as far as im aware.

We use BFD2 for demo purposes.

Drummer plays an electric kit into the desk and we assign the sounds accordingly.

Sounds awesome too no complaints.

We will put live drums in when everything else tracked though.

Just a a more versatile way of recording as we can change things if we want different arrangements after drums are tracked.

Not heard Strike but it'll have to be a bit special to top BFD2.

Strike is balls.
Over priced, non-ergonomic balls.
Don't touch with a large pole.

Any of the other obvious ones are better..though I would say its worth investigating Structure, the sampler in Pro Tools, as you can load / make your own instruments there.
