Hi all

I've just been out and splurged on some new pedals, but dont want batteries for them all! I dont wanna spend a fortune, but wondered if there a multi power supply unit similar to the Dunlop Brick available (cant justify spending £90 on it at the minute)

Cheers

Paul

Maplin catalogue always has a real budget model. You can also make your own but cutting the lead of an adaptor and adding lots more! But just check the input ( normally 500 milli amps) criteria is met by your adapter on each module.

The Cheap Powerbank power supplies are fine for around £20 - £30, i have used them on a few custom pedalboards, they will power up to 5 pedals - I once had one powering 7 pedals with no problem.

Check out the Boss NS2 pedal. It's a Noise supressor and multi power supply for stomp boxes. Two for one ..... bargain !

You can just buy a wall wart with a reasonable output & a daisy chain lead to run your pedals. The trouble is that some of them cause a bad hum through your amp that drives the rest of the band crazy.

I bought one of the DC-9 power banks yesterday and touch wood, so far so good (i'm a true poet). Seeing as I only have 5 pedals that I use frequently it's idea;, and if I need more I'll daisy chain or buy another power bank - can't see myself using more than 10 pedals!

Hi,
I brought a Sound Lab "Power Bank" last year for about £13 off eBay. 5 x 240v supply for stomp boxes etc. Job's a good 'un, only snag is that the power lead is a tad on the short side, but if you're going to make a case and run a power supply to it...no problem.

Im in the process of becoming the UK dealer of the Burkey Flatliner powersupply, this is the absolute "muts nuts" and is used by most major european guitar rig builders such as Paul Lenders, i will be using these on all of my custom pedalboards and also be selling them direct from my website.

For more info check out www.burkey.nl

I'm hoping so, although i cant confirm a selling price at the moment, it will however be cheaper than the voodoo lab Pedalpower 2+ and in my opinion a far far better unit.

This is a serious pro power supply which of course is reflected in the price, like i said before i dont have a problem with the cheaper Powerbank style psu's and have used them many times but you wont believe the difference in tone with the Burkey til u hear it!

This thread is old, but I found an alternative that is cheap and works well - it's called the '1 spot' - just daisy chain all pedals together and bingo...

DC-9 Power Bank all the way! Woo! I only use 5 pedals so it's ok for me.

probably bit late - but the diago powerstation is absolutely fantastic, ultra reliable, completely noise free and not too expensive - around £50.

diago powerstation absolutely rocks. completely quiet unlike the rocktron which seemed to add a fair amount of hum.
