Hi all.

I'm currently the bass player in a busy, Hertfordshire/Middlesex/North London based covers band and sadly, our guitarist of six years has decided to venture onto pastures new. This means that we are looking for a replacement. The band currently has gigs in the book from now until the middle of next year. Our current guitarist will honour all of these gigs but if we can find a suitable replacement, him and us would be happy for the replacement to start as soon as possible. The band mainly play paid functions with the odd uni gig here and there where we have supported the likes of Ellie Goulding, Feeder and Maximo Park. We like to think of ourselves as an "alternative function band" and have been billed on Uni gigs in the past as a "party band". Most of the songs in our 80+ song repertoire I would put in the Rock category.

Own gear is essential, own transport preferred but we could maybe come to arrangement with the logistics if you live close enough to any of the other band members as we do have our own van. Age not an issue if you're up to the job. Also worth mentioning is that we have access to free rehearsal space, own our own PA and lights..
