I'm Peter, aged 47, guitarist and backing vocalist in the five piece Stockport band, "Married in Vegas" [ marriedinvegas.biz ] whose Playing Influences range from Trad Folk/Irish dance stuff through to Dylan, The Raconteurs, Fleetwood mac, White Stripes, B52's, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Cowboy Junkies, Cocteau Twins, Neil Young....Listening-wise, all the above plus Therapy?, Primus, Smashing Pumpkins, Chemical brothers, Boards of Canada, Jimi Hendrix, RATM and the Ramones.
We are looking for a female singer to join an existing 5 piece made up of a Keyboard player, (48), Kev the bassist (40), Kev the drummer (34), Chris (violin, mandolin) and me for rehearsals/recording/gigging and playing mostly originals.
Attached are a couple of mono, one take recordings made during a rehearsal, which certainly don't reflect our studio sound but do give some idea of the type of music we do. We plan studio sessions VERY soon.

South Manchester/Cheshire or Stockport/Macclesfield areas. Own gear/transport/sense of humor a must; mustache and bee-hive hairdo optional.
