Lead /rhythm guitarist, with backing vocals, gear & transport, age 29, based in Chillwell (M1 J25).
I\'m a guitarist of with lots of band and live experience. I can also sing (Not quite to lead standard yet but I'm getting there...fast) and I\'m quick at learning and remembering new material, both guitar and vocal parts. Very professional and reliable attitude (I'm no pro though). I'm definitely a guitarist that likes to play songs rather than guitar i.e. egoless, though I can produce showmanship when required. I have a good sense of rhythm and am a competent lead player. I can play many styles including rock, funk, metal, blues. I've recently ventured into the world of songwriting/arranging including some vocal melody writing and the odd lyric. I have a good sense of aesthetics and understand the need to create sounds and grooves that fit in with (not over) the other musicians or vocal melody. I'm definitely not a guitarist who feels the need to turn up to 11!
Above all I\'m quite a chilled person.
I have many influences and I like listening to many styles of music from light jazz to metal. Some of my influences (there are far too many to list) include:
SRV, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, RATM, Alter Bridge, Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac, PJ Harvey, Incubus, Lenny Kravtiz, Guns & Roses, Nirvana and of course Hendrix.

I'm looking for a hard working band (or musicians to form a band) with attention to detail and a professional attitude, people who take their music seriously but not themselves. My preferred musical styles are Rock/Indie/Funk (ideally I'd like a band that draws influences from many genres), though I would consider any good music.
Even though I want to play originals I dont have any delusions of grandeur in that its just about playing good music and good gigs for me.
