Hi , I,m dave, a 50 year old drummer. and I have been playing for 27 years, with bands here, and in Germany. My first love is classic rock, especially the likes of Free, AC/DC, and The Cult , as well as a love of prog rock. I have been playing in Covers bands, since returning from Germany, and am more interested in playing gigs (although I love to practise,and experiment) than trying to conquer the world. Although I am no Neil Peart, I am a steady, solid, time keeper, who likes to Rock out, once in a while. After my last long term band had to split up, I had a couple of false starts, and then I was contacted on this site, and am now in a 3 piece rock outfit, called Split, playing sightly more obscure covers, in the vein of The Groundhogs, Hendrix, MSG ,and Purple. We are rehearsing twice weekly, and are now gigging .
