I'm an acoustic guitarist, songwriter, based in Guisborough, Yorkshire, North East UK, just getting back into music (since September 2007) after being 'away' for god knows how many years. Don't know how that happened! :) I've got a renewed enthusiasm for songwriting/playing, but my voice isn't good enough for lead vocals and sometimes I'm a bit short on lyrics. Up until April 'ish 2008, Laura Anya from Devon, has been singing for me - collaborating online. I have just completed a sets worth of original songs and I am now looking for a local female vocalist. I have no visions of stardom, but I would like to produce some decent original acoustic songs, and perhaps record/perform them. See how it goes basically, no rush, but the chemistry has to be right. Stylewise - I've not been listening to contemporary music very much at all, so I'm not influenced particularly - I suppose, if anything, a bit Joni Mitchell'y sounding. I like simple, mellow, melodic songs. Bye.
