Bass player, own quality gear (large pub sized power 1x15/4x10, Fender Jazz, Sansamp Bass DI), own transport looking for new band and gigs. I am able to play covers or learn/write new material. I can read music so could help out as a dep or a session musician, and have a good knowledge of musical theory etc.

Although I play covers at the moment, ultimately I would really like to play prog or neo-prog rock and/or put some original stuff together, in whatever genre. I have some ideas, but my keyboard skills really aren't up to Banks/Orford levels, so I would really like to hear from a keyboard player who wants to put a prog band together. Keys need to be the backbone of a prog group, but any other musicians, please get in touch - especially if your names are Peart, Rutherford, Holmes or Gilmour. Oh, and we'd need a singer too, if your name is Gabriel or Fish that would be good too!

I can do backing vocals in the studio but I can't sing and play like Geddy Lee live - sorry! I also have a 16 input PC based recording equipment (8 mic preamps), soft synths and E-mu Classic Keys sound module, and fully miked drum kit in the house house. I can also play alto sax and clarinet to excellent standard (AB Grade VIII). I can also get a flute player for recording and there is some guitar stuff in the studio too (Line 6 modelling amp).

Although I have the recording kit, I don't get enough music to record, so I would be open to offers to record bands or singers at my place. I enjoy the recording so would probably do it just for the fun of it (or a bottle of good red wine!). I don't need the money too much
