Grade 6 (Honours) guitarist and singer in the bass range. Interests are Jazz, Soul, Blues and Country, but happy to rock out, too. Extensive collection of sheet music for reference. Available for gigs/bands/jams/shows/duos/trios, etc. Good giggng experience with function band (see web-link), including HMS Belfast and.the Union Jack CLub. Would prefer to form/join something jazz/soul/blues oriented, involving some vocal harmony.

Influences include Martin Taylor and Earl Klugh for Jazz, Paul Simon/James Taylor for accoustic, too many to list for blues/rock.

Fave bands/artists are the above, plus I\'ve currently got a bit of a thing for girl singers such as Madeleine Peyroux (yes ... I know about the Billie Holliday comparison), Corrine Bailey-Rae and KT Tuinstall.

I\\\'ve been playing since the year dot, but have advanced over recent years through playing in pit orchestras for popular musicals and can list the likes of Return to the Forbidden Planet, Chess, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Jesus Christ Superstar, Copacabana, Little Shop of Horrors, A Slice of Saturday Night, Annie, Godspell, Joseph, City of Angels, Children of Eden, Summer Holiday, Honk!, plus various concerts.

I can sight read (could be better, but ain't it always the way) and also play accoustic guitar, plus a bit of bass, banjo and mandolin, and - if pushed, trombone.

All own gear and mobile. Kit includes 73 Fender Telecaster, Epiphone Emperor, Epi Dot, Takamine and Norman electr-accoustics. Amps are Marshall (currently AVT150, but that's being upgraded) Marshall AS50R for the electro accoustics, plus a nifty Roland Cube 30 for small gigs.
