We are the smokin barrels and play kick arse heavy metal,think heavy rock with some thrash,punk influenes in the mix.
We have been active for about a year and after a handfull of gigs we had to part company with our bass player and now require someone to step in to this position to take us to the next level.
We are aiming to do a demo in the near future and then hopefully do an album sometime next year and then see where that takes us.
We are after a bassist with a natural feel for metal who can learn quick and who has a sense of humour (a must).
We enjoy what we do and we rehearse twice a week (we are flexible with this and chop and change when needed)
We do not take ourselves too seriously but know when we need to produce the goods,giggin is our main aim!!

Influences are many including,motorhead,exodus,megadeth,killing joke,hawkwind,ac/dc,maiden,slipknot,anthrax,slayer,judas preist,testament,death metal,thrash metal,punk,hard rock...you get the picture?
