We're looking for a guitarist for an album recording project, with the strong intention of acquiring a record deal. Recording first, then learning to play live together after. Don't let it scare you, yes it does work. Fortunately we're quite talented and experienced and have lovely equipment too. We are: Andy: (that's me) Vocals, producing, occasional dodgy strummin..Tony: excellent bass, Will: Piano/keys, backing vocals.. we're using a drum machine at the mo to give a rough idea (to be replaced in the mix later by live drums).
Influences? They can be so misleading...just cos u like something doesn't mean u r gonna sound like it, does it? But, i suppose we could say Elbow, Webb Brothers, early Stone Roses, early Verve, later Radiohead.

Anyway, it would certainly help if you were between 25 and 35 (though we'll stretch that a bit for the right person), lived in or close to Cambridge, had a car, good equipment, talent, enough time and money, a broad appreciation of music, were easy to get on with, liked to socialize a bit, and actually would rather like some sort of record deal and were happy to do the necessary work for it.
