Tremain is the sound of nu-soul groove - blending contemporary soul with progressive beats, brightly polished by rich, harmonized vocals.

Centred around three songwriters/musicians; Leonie Tremain (22), Amba Tremain (26) and Andy Dixon (27), Tremain has successfully gigged to an ever growing fan base throughout the UK for the past four years.

Tremain is influenced by all music, but particularly the soul greats - Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Prince and Eva Cassidy and towards the end of 2007, Leonie and Amba were honoured when they were asked to record the backing vocals to Eva Cassidy’s version of ‘Chain Of Fools’. They of course, accepted and are thrilled with the result! (Eva Cassidy's rendition of “Chain of Fools" is a previously unissued 1996 Blues Alley performance and is set to be a single release from her latest album, ‘Somewhere’, released in the UK, August 2008 - Blix Street Records).

On top of this accolade, the last year has seen Tremain record some of their most recent songs at the world famous and legendary London based recording studios, The Town House Studios, where they were lucky enough to be joined by a string and brass section and work with producer, Tom Belton.
