Hi,

I am looking to join a top quality covers band who are gigging on a regular basis and getting well paid in the weddings/functions/corporate market. I am not overly keen on playing too many pubs!

I am a versatile, experienced professional drummer with great timing and feel. I am a solid and reliable guy with a good sense of humour and 100% commited approach to what I do. I try to play what the song demands and what best fits the music. I am not a 'fill-every-eight-bars' flashy type of player! If you listen to my samples you will see what I mean. All the live tracks were taken from the same gig (23rd May 2008) and will show my versatility (Blink 182 to Elvis, via Stevie Wonder, The Buzzcocks and The Feeling!) as well as my timekeeping and 'in the pocket' groove.

I have both acoustic (Mapex Pro M) and electronic (Yamaha DTX3) kits, depending on what suits the situation, and I sometimes use some electronic pads alongside my acoustic set up. I can also fulfill a percussionist role - I have bongos, djembe, bodhran, shakers, cabasa, etc.

I am also available for paid depping & session work, both in the studio and for gigs - those last minute, panic situations when your drummer is ill or unavailable, or maybe you want to record using a real drummer. I will try to fit in with your budget and offer reasonable rates.
