My introduction to music was through my older brother Mark. He's a professional Bass trombonist and I've been going to his concerts since I was knee high to a tuba. I made my own start into music aged about 7 on piano, this led to trombone a few years later and I soon started joining brass bands and orchestras. I first picked up guitar in year 11 at school (16 yrs old) and then moved onto bass in my 2nd year at college.

After leaving college I studied for a degree at Basstech in London. 3 years later I emerged clutching a certificate and a far better idea of how to actually play the instrument.

Since then I've played in various bands (Six Bearded Fish, The Mores, The Fundamentals, Dlugokecki, Atlas & Caroline's Capuchin to name but a few) on both Bass and Piano. I've played gigs with Snow Patrol and Sandi Thom and have played for Alan Rickman and Michael Kamen (amongst others).

I've also played for Carnival Cruise Ships in their showband on the ships Spirit and Legend. Besides getting to play for an audience of 2000+ every night, I got to see San Diego, Mexico, Florida and The Caribbean. I've also toured France, Germany, Hungary and China.
