I am a violinist with a rich experience of performance and teaching. I hold a BMus (Hons) and a PGDE (Qualified Teacher of Music). Along with this, I also have Enhanced Police Disclosure Certification as I work with children on a daily basis.

I work as a violin instructor in primary schools in Edinburgh, along with a small cohort of private pupils. As a primary school instructor, I have extensive experience of teaching young childrens, although adults are equally welcome! I can cater for all standards, from beginner to advanced players. I teach both classical and traditional styles and more than happy to teach viola, my other passion.

Lessons would ideally take place in the home of the student. My rates are £12 per half hour.

I am a keen chamber musician and leader of a quartet, with whom appearances have included the Carnegie International Philanthropy Awards and the Honorary Doctorate of the President of Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus.
