Professional violinist / violist / string arranger.
Available for session work, recording, recitals and engagements.

Studied at Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal College of Music in London. Worked for several years as an orchestral musician with the London Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia Orchestra.

Left orchestral work in 2000 to concentrate full time on chamber music and session work.

Excellent sight reader in all styles and genres, both violin and viola. Very strong sound, working quickly and efficiently for classical, folk, rock, jazz, traditional fiddle, baroque or world music.

I play acoustic violin only - can't beat the gorgeous sound!

I run a string quartet and commercial string section, but also teach violin and music theory from my home in Buckinghamshire.

The string section players are available for recording work on film soundtracks, rock tracks, music for television and radio productions or for live work in the UK and overseas. We can take care of everything from arranging the strings right through to the finished recording, whether it's a solo fiddle or a full scale string orchestra.
