The Urgent Jensen (that's us) is looking for a talented bassist to join our gang following the loss of a member. We're experiened 'gigggers' (currently doing the acoustic circuit) with a clutch of special songs and we're looking to get back on a London stage as a four-piece ASAP before recording an album (which we'll self promote) and obviously scoring that big fat deal. Well, we all want a Rolls Royce made out of diamonds, don't we? Ideally you'll be aged beteen 20-30 and perhaps you'll have a sense of humour (but this isn't essential!)

US: A gig-experienced London band with a collection of good songs, currently playing around town acoustically due to the loss of our bassist. Dedicated to our music, we rehearse on a regular basis and are looking to write/rehearse new songs for a self-funded album. We're also nice chaps and none of us have faces like a bulldog chewing a wasp. Which is nice.

YOU: You're a talented and committed bassist. You're into all the great English rock bands ((Smiths, Roses, Beatles, Libs ect) and you like some US outfits too (Nirvana, Doors, REM, Interpol ect). You believe a bass should be plucked and not slapped, you're up for working hard and you have no problem wiith honest, open communication (you'd be amazed!) and the possesion of a sense of humour. If you look great, play hard and like burning demo CDs, that's a bonus. Essentially though - you will like our music and be into what we're doing. If you have ideas and tunes of your own - all the better.
