I’ve been a bass player for twenty years now (I’ve just turned 42 but don’t hold that against me!). I’m a non-reader but have 'quick ears' and know enough theory to understand what the k/b players’ talking about! My experience comes from playing in a variety of bands/genres in all venues great and small as well as time in the studio. Most recently I have held down bass and b/vox duties in two very good Bon Jovi tribute bands – Bongiovi and then Bon Jovie (Bongiovi now have a different line-up but offer me the occasional gig when their guy can’t make it). In these two bands, I’ve played some fantastic gigs/venues throughout the UK and abroad.

This year, the singer of the current band was heavily involved with an original project - REAL(www.realband.co.uk), so new gigs weren't forthcoming ,which led me to join long-standing classic rock covers band, The Mafia(www.themafiarocks.com).

I'm still open to dep gigs, preferably with an established band to make it worth the cramming beforehand!!

I have my own gear and transport and live in sunny Basingstoke, so I’m right on the M3 and only 40 miles from London.
