I am a guitarist who's been playing on and off for about 25 years. I'm looking to form a band to do live covers of popular tunes but not the old tired ones you hear at weddings etc. My taste is most centered around metal (Metallica, Pantera, Machinehead, Korn, Arch Enemy etc) but I'm open minded about music in general and love everything from Moby to Hard-Fi, Maroon 5, Prodigy, Pink Floyd, and I'm a bit of a sucker for 80's nostalgia.

My main axe is a Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop and I play through a Line 6 Vetta II and also use a Roland guitar synth with a GK3 pickup rigged up to my Jackson super strat to do all sorts of weird stuff.

I have experience in sequencing using various pieces of software, although I'm no pro, I like to tinker around with stuff.

Anyway, just looking for something casual where we can get together once a week and get the occasional pub gig or something.

My brother in law is a maestro on keyboards so he'll probably be on board too!
